New Prey has nothing to do with the old Prey, or Prey 2, which was cancelled back in 2014. Now in the hands of Arkane’s Austin studio, Prey is only familiar in name. Set in an alternate history where President Kennedy was never assassinated, the Soviets and the States continued their rivalry, until one took control of the Kletka Program, a space installation meant to control an alien threat. The project is eventually abandoned, and a corporation takes over (uh-oh), turning the station into “a cutting edge innovation center” called Talos 1. Big surprise, things don’t go well.

You play as Morgan Yu (with a gender of your choice), who happens to be on board when the alien threat gets particularly threatening. From there, it’s a matter of survival and getting to the bottom of what went wrong. Expect plenty of shooting and exploration, and most interestingly, shape-shifting. You and the alien threat can take on nearly any form. An inconspicuous mug or trash bin might be an alien in wait, or if they’re hunting you down, try the mug life for yourself.

Take

a big open world, stuff it with 100 Far Cry-type outpost missions, and jump in with some co-op partners. Ghost Recon: Wildlands takes place in a Bolivian landmass where four players comprise a military taskforce sent to disrupt a drug cartel and the government it’s aligned with. While players may have a specific missions—whether it’s to steal some intel or kidnap an informant—how they choose to tackle it is up to them. Guns blazing? Stealth? Or, as often happens, failed stealth that leads to guns blazing?

The open world—the first in Ghost Recon’s ten-game history—promises diverse environments like mountains, forests, and deserts, explorable by ground vehicles, helicopters, and parachutes. The setting is close to modern day, so weapons and gear aren’t as futuristic as they have been in earlier Recon games.

We gave Wildlands a go during the closed beta, and had a pretty good time. It was mostly antics, though.

It reached full production in September 2005. The car is built by Volkswagen AG subsidiary Bugatti Automobiles SAS and is sold under the legendary Bugatti marque. It is named after racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti firm. The Veyron features a W16 engine—16 cylinders in 4 banks of 4 cylinders.

According to Volkswagen, the final production Veyron engine produces between 1020 and 1040 metric hp (1006 to 1026 SAE net hp), so the car will be advertised as producing "1001 horsepower" in both the US and European markets. This easily makes it the most powerful production road-car engine in history.

In-Game Improvements and Tweaks to Operations

Planning for our next releases, we’ve heard you loud and clear. We still have some work to do to make the game as frictionless as possible. We’re dedicating the May Update to revisions that will improve your quality of life in Battlefield 1.
This includes streamlining the flow into matches (especially Operations) and improving many gameplay grievances that will hopefully make the action feel more balanced and fair. The development team is also working on a feature update to the Battlefield 1 Rent-a-Server Program which we hope to release soon.

Though there is no official announcement of the release date, but Rockstar has given a hint for GTA 6 that “We’ve got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do,” Leslie Benzies, president of Rockstar North, said in a press conference. A lot of people are predicting the GTA 6 release date by following the previous leads, but the fact is still GTA 6 date is not announced. But considering the Rockstar strategy, it is expected to release sometime around 2018.

The gameplay in Global Offensive is similar to that of previous games in the Counter-Strike series in the sense that it is an objective-based multiplayer first-person shooter. Players play as one of two teams; the Terrorists or the Counter Terrorists, with both teams having different objectives: the Terrorists' being to plant the bomb and have it explode or to protect the hostages, and the Counter-Terrorists' being to prevent the bomb from being planted and exploding, or to rescue the aforementioned hostages, depending on the map.[1][2] At the start of every round players get the opportunity to purchase weapons and equipment with their money that is awarded based on their performance in the previous round. Winning rounds results in more money than losing, and completing objectives such as killing enemy players results in more money.[1] Negative actions, such as killing teammates, will result in a penalty.[3]

There are six different game modes in CS:GO. These consist of Competitive, Casual, Arms Race, Demolition, Deathmatch, and Weapons Course. All of these options have both online or offline options except the Weapons Course, which is offline only.[4] Competitive mode is the most serious, with players being put into a 5v5 match that takes around 45 minutes to complete.[5] Arms Race mode is similar to the "Gun Game" mod for other games in the series. It consists of players racing to upgrade their guns via killing enemies.[1] Demolition mode is again like the "Gun Game" mod, but in Demolition the players are able to plant and defuse the bomb too, and only receive a gun upgrade at the end of the round if they killed an enemy.[1] Casual mode is a toned-down version of the Competitive mode as it has both team damage and collision disabled.[6] In Deathmatch mode, there is no real objective except to kill the enemy players. Players instaspawn after death, meaning the action is almost continuous. It is most popularly used to practice and learn how all of the guns function.[7] The Weapons Course is an offline practice mode designed to help new players learn how to use the basic items, such as grenades and guns.[4]

Matchmaking is supported for all online game modes through the Steam software,[8] and runs Valve Anti-Cheat to prevent hackers.[9] In the competitive modes, players are encouraged to act more strategically in CS:GO than in other games because of the lack of the ability to respawn.[10] When playing competitively, each player has a rank based on their skill level and will be paired up with and against players of around the same skill level.[1] Prime Matchmaking is available to players who have verified their account by inputting their phone number. This was introduced to try to prevent legitimate players from playing with hackers or high-skilled players playing on alternate lower ranked accounts, a practice known as "smurfing".[11] The PC version of Global Offensive supports private dedicated servers that the player may connect to through the community server menu in-game. These servers may be heavily modified and in turn, can be completely different from the base gamemodes. There have been many community made mods for CS:GO, one of the more popular ones being kz, a mod which allows players to complete obstacle courses that require advanced strafing and jumping techniques.[12]

CS:GO added new weapons and equipment not seen in previous installments, most notably the firebomb for each side (referred to as a Molotov on the Terrorist side and as an Incendiary Grenade on the Counter-Terrorist side). These temporarily cover a small area in fire, dealing damage to anyone passing through. The game also saw the introduction of the Zeus taser and a range of new guns, including shotguns, pistols and sub-machine guns.
